FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process work?

When you arrive at the tree farm, we ask that you talk with one of our crew members. We can answer all questions, grab a tree tag, a S’more pack + get you started in the right direction! Whether that be a wagon ride to the trees or shopping the Pre-Cut Lot.

Do we need to bring a saw?

No, we provide saws for you.

How do I know the height of the tree when cutting it myself?

We provide measuring poles for you to use in the field. Also, take into account your own height.

Where do you find your Consignors?

We seek local artisans from the Chippewa Valley + beyond. We prefer quality, handmade items. Contact us at curvueht@gmail.com for more consignment information.

What’s the difference between the tree varieties?

Balsam Firs are a more fragrant tree, with a soft needle + less dense branch. Fraser Firs have a sturdier branch structure, more of a blueish-green color to them + a stiffer needle.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept cash + credit or debit cards.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, so long as he/she is friendly, remains on a leash + you clean up their droppings.

Can we drive back to the trees?

No. For the safety of everyone, we do not allow vehicles to drive back to the trees. Only our own work vehicles are allowed back there.

I’m a photographer, can I take photos of my clients here?

Sorry. Our property is not well suited for photography sessions. Our trees are .25 miles away from our front property.

What is your tree pricing?

Our tree pricing is based on height, not variety.
